“I’m inspired by life, people and the brands that I love. The way I see it, humor is always in fashion.” -Kelsey Moreau

About Me

Kelsey Moreau is an Orange County, California based fashion illustrator and brand consultant. Originally from Woodinville, Washington, Kelsey (an identical triplet) moved to Southern California in 2001 with both of her Sisters to attend Vanguard University where she graduated in 2005 with a degree in Communications.

During her Junior year, a chance encounter with KTLA’s Entertainment Reporter led to an internship in Downtown Los Angeles where Kelsey’s hard work earned her the title of “Glorified Intern” and the coveted role of “Red Carpet” interviewer.  Soon after graduation (and her time at KTLA) Kelsey worked for an established PR Firm in Newport Beach before heading back to school for another year to pursue a career as a Makeup Artist.

However, after 7 years of doing makeup for Fashion Shoots, Weddings and Local Events, Kelsey’s “Artistic” ambitions were still unfulfilled.  This led her (often with a cup of coffee or glass of wine) to revisit her favorite pastime of fashion illustration, something she’d been doing as a hobby since her early teens. Always up for a good “pun”, Kelsey finally found her “passion” and has developed a distinct style that combines her wit, love of fashion and life experience with her gift as an illustrator to create what she calls “Fashionably FUNNY” art.

Married with four beautiful daughters, Kelsey has finally hit her stride, expressing herself with great contentment through illustration and design – using her unique point of view, original style and diverse resume to bring a smile (and hopefully a laugh) to those who have come to enjoy her work.  Most recently she has found herself doing a large number of commission work for Weddings, Engagements, Anniversaries and Personal Brands.  She has also been working on numerous collaborations with a variety of Corporate Brands to create custom illustrations for their Social Media and Marketing Campaigns. Additionally, Kelsey’s earlier work has appeared in Locale Magazine as well as the book “Lipstick. Laptops. Life.” by Angela O’Mara.
